Delegates from Kyegegwa District Local Government led by Hon. Tom Bright Amooti (Omukozi wa Ebikorwa Ebirungi) a Member of Parliament (MP) Kyaka Central, Hon. Birungi Norman (LCV Kyegegwa District) Mr. Ategeka Deuson Army - Principle Assistant Secretary (PAS) , Mr. Kasaija Kalya Ezra - District Community Development Officer (DCDO), Ms. Kagaba Hellen - Human Resource Officer (HRO) among other member who were present offered condolences. 

Kyegegwa District served as the initial arrival point and start of the public road procession for the return of the remains of the late Tooro King, Omukama Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV

, ahead of his final journey to the Karuzika Royal Palace in Fort Portal. The military helicopter carrying King Oyo's remains landed at the Humura Primary School playground in Kyegegwa Town, where thousands of grieving subjects, local leaders, and mourners gathered to receive the fallen monarch.
