Kyegegwa District Receives 15 Lenovo Laptop Computers from NITA-U

NITA-U's Director of eGovernment Services Collin Babirukamu handingover computers to Senior Information Technology Officer Kyegegwa District.

The move intended to empower civil servants to electronically deliver government services. These laptops will with no doubt enable service delivery to the citizens especially during these challenging times of the Covid-19.

During Presidential inauguration on 12th May, 2021 H.E highlighted ICT as the key driver for National social-economic transformation. To support this, NITA-U is equipping civil servants with tools to deliver on this mandate.

Today morning, NITA-U's Director of eGovernment Services Collin Babirukamu has flagged off the distribution of 700 laptops to Local Governments, City Councils, Municipal Councils and Town Councils.

The move intended to empower civil servants to electronically deliver government services. These laptops will with no doubt enable service delivery to the citizens especially during these challenging times of the Covid-19.

 

Kyegegwa District has received a total of 15 Lenovo Laptop Computers which made it the highest beneficiary in the project. Thanks to the Management Kyegegwa & NITA-U*#Digitize
